  What is it?

DARE2BDRINKAWARE is a competition for 3rd level students who wish to address the relationship between the Irish and alcohol. The main objective of this competition is to raise awareness about the relationship between Irish culture and drinking while giving students the chance to voice their opinions and develop film making skills.

 What did you do?

Students over the age of 18 were asked to make a short film that addressed how the Irish may sometimes be prone to one drink too many! They had to come up with an interesting video to catch the audience’s attention while raising their awareness to the dangers of too much alcohol while exploring the reasons behind this habit, the attitudes and the behaviour of young people. The winners were chosen based on their ability to express their opinion in an original and interesting way.
