| What is Ubuntu linux ? It is an Operating System (OS) that does the same thing as Windows and Mac OS…except it's free!
A free OS is one where you are not required to pay for anything, there are no restrictions on what you do with the OS (including installing it on multiple machines, sharing it with your friends or selling it on) and if you have the skills and time, you can make any changes you want.
